HR and People teams

You can't be the neutral inside your own organisation. We can.

Your people know you work for the organisation, however fair you are. When a matter needs someone independent, or you've already advised one side, send it to us. Fixed prices per matter, no panel contract, and we share back only what everyone involved agrees to.

Half-day mediation $2,900, full day $4,900, ex GST.

When HR teams call

You might be here because...

  • You've advised the manager, so you can't mediate between them and their team member.
  • Both people have asked for someone independent.
  • It's been going on for months and internal efforts haven't shifted it.
  • You need a mediator without a long procurement process.
  • Your grievance process needs an early resolution option people will use.
  • A whole team is affected, not just two people.

How we work with HR

Clear boundaries, agreed up front.

What you receive
Before we start, we agree what comes back to you: usually the outcome note, and anything everyone involved agrees to share.
No findings in mediation
A mediator doesn't decide who was right. If you need findings, that's an investigation, run separately by a different panel member.
Conflicts checked
Every matter is checked for conflicts of interest before anything is booked.
Your process stays yours
We fit around your policies, and tell you if a matter needs to go down a formal path instead.

Questions

Common questions.

  • Do we need a contract or panel arrangement?

No. Book per matter at the published price. If you expect repeat work, ask us about standing arrangements on the triage call.

  • Will you give us a report?

We provide an outcome note of what's been agreed. We don't assess who was right or make findings. If you need findings, that's an investigation, which we quote separately.

  • Can a manager or support person attend?

It depends on the matter. We agree who will be in the room on the triage call, before any invitations go out.

  • Can you facilitate a team conversation?

Yes. When a whole team is affected, a facilitated conversation usually helps more than one-on-one mediation. We'll scope it on a triage call.
