Virtual, Australia-wide

By video, anywhere in Australia.

Most of our triage calls and mediations happen by video. It's quicker to arrange, there's no travel, and each person joins from a space where they feel settled. If an in-person session would genuinely help, ask us.

Private rooms on demand

Separate conversations, whenever they're needed.

The mediator can speak with each person on their own, then bring everyone back together.

Why video works well

Less travel, less tension, more choice.

Your own space
Each person joins from a room they chose, rather than walking into someone else's office.
No shared waiting room
Nobody has to sit in reception with the person they're in conflict with.
Private rooms
The mediator moves people into separate rooms for private conversations, and back again.
Easier to arrange
No travel, so dates are easier to find, wherever each person is in Australia.

Before, during and after

What a video session looks like.

  1. Link and plan

    Before

We send the link and the plan for the session, and check each person has a private space and a device that works.

  2. One at a time

    Joining

Each person joins on their own. The mediator opens by explaining how the session will run.

  3. As needed

    Private rooms

The mediator speaks with each person separately whenever it helps, then brings everyone back together.

  4. Any time

    Breaks

Anyone can ask for a break at any point. Nobody has to explain why.

  5. Outcome note

    Afterwards

What's been agreed is written up and sent to the people involved.

Questions

Video sessions: common questions.

  • What platform do you use?

We'll confirm the platform when we book, and make sure it works for everyone before the day.

  • What if someone's connection drops?

The mediator waits and reconnects. If it keeps dropping, we pause and agree a new time rather than push on.

  • Can a support person attend?

Sometimes. We agree who will be in the room before any invitations go out, so there are no surprises on the day.

  • Do you work in person?

Most of our work happens by video, anywhere in Australia, with private breakout rooms when people need them. If an in-person session would genuinely help, ask us.
